QUEEN OF HEAVEN, JAMAICA

The CFSOP Sisters have been freely and wholeheartedly serving the poorest of the poor here in Montego Bay.  We are most thankful to God that whether in rough times or in times of great joy, we have courageously persevered in our mission work here in Jamaica among God's poor people, selflessly serving without receiving any salary from the government or the Church.  Humbly serving in Jamaica for over 21 years now, we have been tireless in our labours to freely and joyfully establish the Hope Teaching Health Clinic (HTHC), the largest and most extensive clinic for the free service of the poor here in Montego Bay and St. James, and in offering dedicated service ministering at the Hope Hospice for the Dying. Surviving shootings and robberies and many dangers, through these two mission centres and our outreach and service of the poor around us, we have selflessly cared for and brought about much healing and compassion to thousands of God’s suffering children and sick and needy persons who have come to us over the years seeking medical, dental and spiritual help and some measure of God’s merciful love.
